Is the frosting a bit yellow, it looks white to me. Our family has a long tradition with saffron and make breads and muffins ever Christmas with it. Très cher. That's why I have forwarded this yummy looking cake on to my daughter. She has an entire rose garden that is just starting to bloom. She might have fun with this.
